He has worked on classics such as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Pocahontas, Mulan, The Princess and the Frog, Zootopia and Moana. Mark Henn was the lead artist of Mulan, young Simba and Princess Tiana, among others. During Framed he will be present to talk about his work.

Kajsa Næss and Marie-Laure Guisset: Filmmakers Titina (Openingsfilm)

Director Kajsa Næss and animation director Marie-Laure Guisset talk about their work on Titina, the opening film of Framed. Kajsa Næss is one of the big animation names in Norway, she has won several awards with her short films. Titina is her first feature film. Marie-Laure Guisset is a Belgian animator and has worked on The Triplets of Belleville (which we also screen during Framed) and The Secret of Kells. Before Titina she was animation director and she was specifically involved with the characters. Her mantra is "less is more".

Edwin Rhemrev: Set design

Edwin Rhemrev is a Dutch visual development artist who has worked on major animation productions from Illumination, nWave Studios and Netflix. His specialty is creating worlds, but also interiors and vehicles. During Framed he talks about his work using examples and provides insight into his process.

Storyworld's Spotlight Room (also in the Forum) is currently dedicating an exhibition to the work of Edwin Rhemrev. It is recommended to combine your visit to Framed with a visit to Storyworld.
