The Falun Gong is a spiritual movement in China and its members face harsh oppression. Some members had enough, and hacked a Chinese television signal to get the word out and demand freedom of religion. The Chinese government was caught red handed. What followed was imprisonment for the hackers, endless torture and even more oppression for Falun Gong followers.
In Eternal Spring, we follow comic book author Daxiong. A follower of Falun Gong himself, he has spoken with several eyewitnesses to show how much determination is needed to stand up for yourself and your political rights in China. Jason Loftus combined Daxiongs art style with 3D animation to create a powerful tale about fighting for freedom.
