A daring, mysterious and visually sensational psychological thriller.
In the long awaited Don't Worry Darling, directed by Olivia Wilde (Booksmart), Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack (Harry Styles) have gotten their hands on a beautiful new home in the exemplary town Victory. They live in an experimental small community in which the male inhabitants work for the secretive Victory Project. Their CEO is Frank (Chris Pine), a visionary businessman, motivator and lifecoach. He is the embodiment of the societal optimism of the 1950s that influences every aspect of daily life in the small utopian town.
While the men work for the Victory Project every day of their lives, their spouses – amongst which is Frank's charming wife Shelley (Gemma Chan) – spend their time enjoying the luxury and excesses in the community. Life is perfect, and the company takes care of every inhabitant's needs. The only thing they ask for in exchange is discretion and unconditional devotion to Victory. When their ideal lives start to show cracks that suggest that something sinister is going on, Alice is forced to wonder what Victory actually does and why they are there. How much is Alice willing to lose to bring the truth to light?
