Nike MAG

Nike - 2011

One of the most famous sneaker moments in film history has to be the Nike MAG that appeared in the film Back to the Future Part II. In 2011, 1500 sets of the Nike MAG were auctioned off on eBay, with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. This is a Foundation dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease. On resell platforms, several tens of thousands of euros were offered for a single pair!

The Nike MAG was worn by the Back to the Future character Marty McFly, who was played by Michael J. Fox. The 2011 version is an exact replica of the original Nike Mag from the film. The grey colour is supplemented with white and blue tones and speckles. The model also features LED lighting in the heel and sole, really bringing the sneaker to life.
